Welcome to our Maser Galleries Blog.

Ronald Maser, aka "Lefty", was a former ball player whose only passion in life was pitching, until an injury prevented him from living his dream.

Quitting a job with IBM after 3 days, he wandered around looking for something else he could do with his life and love as much as baseball. After answering an ad in the paper offering "unlimited opportunity", a representative for Jack Solomon of Circle Fine Arts hired Lefty to run his Pittsburgh galleries.

They talked ball and within the hour, Jack's rep tossed Lefty the keys and drove off to Chicago. After learning the trade, Lefty opened his first gallery in 1970 at Seven Springs Resort. That is the story of how Maser Galleries began.

After over 30 years in the art business, we would enjoy sharing our eclectic and colorful collection of art with you. Visiting Maser Galleries is an adventure where you can discover everything from Rembrandt etchings to pop art by Burton Morris.
